After 3 days of not being able to login and then when I do get in I crash after 10 mins I am completely finished with SOE and Neverquest.
I did a group last night in Velks with players from 45-49. When we left, most of us had dinged twice. I myself went from 48 to 50. And I was tanking for most of it. The cleric was helping some with the pulling to minimize adds, and we did have an enchanter in case there were adds, which sometimes we had as many as 2 adds in spite of precautions.

So why would any group want us? Sure im sexy and i have dyed my armor cool colors! But i dont damage as well as i should. Why pick me to group over better damage/utility classes?

Sony designed the beastlord of today brilliantly. The beastlord has huge utility (mana, damage, pet, buffs, small heals, etc).

So i was really looking forward to the next well thought out class since the original EQ was designed.

Instead i find a class that while i do enjoy playing, has no real...

This may have already been said, but the best combo I've ever seen is monk/shaman/clr (and then your newbie). If the monk is well geared, he/she can solo anything that would be XP for the newbie, and feign death before it dies. The newbie finishes it off, and gets full XP. the shaman and cleric are optional, really, and are only there to compensate for gear quality on the monk. The equipment for your newbie is more or less irrelevant, just so that they can finish off whatever the monk...
